About Sara Yogev

I’m a psychologist with more than thirty years of experience. I’m also the author of the book “A Couple’s Guide to Happy Retirement and Aging; 15 Keys to Vitality and Connection”   which is now in its third edition and can be found on Amazon and book stores..

As a former Northwestern University faculty member for more than 10 years, my research and area of expertise was balancing work and family demands at different life stages.  I published more than 20 articles in acclaimed professional magazines and make frequent contribution to general public. On numerous occasions I have been interviewed and featured as an expert on these topics on radio stations as well as Newsweek, Time, Money magazines and USA Today (Lists available upon request).

In my practice I helped countess individuals and couples in individual psychotherapy, marital counseling and coaching. I work extensively with adults, have vast experience assisting people dealing with stress, adjustment to transitions and new environments at home and work, depression, anxiety in addition to communication and relationship/ couples issues.

My style is interactive, dynamic and nurturing. I speak openly,  directly providing structure  and give honest feedback. Each therapy or coaching experience  is tailor made,  revealing new ways of being and improved relationship, increased satisfaction, harmony success and joy.

I received my MA degree in Clinical Psychology at the |Hebrew University on Jerusalem Israel in 1971 and my Ph.D. at Northwestern University in 1978.
